Enviroburners to supply Burner System for new CMPC Laja Recovery Boiler

Advanced Burner System for CMPC Laja Mill

The burner system to the new recovery boiler at Laja mill, Chile will be supplied as a subcontracting project for Andritz Oy. The commissioning of the burner system is planned in 2012. In Laja Mill Expansion project the main CNCG (Non Condensable Gas) burner will be located at the recovery boiler with capacity of 10.0 MW. In addition to CNC gas, also liquid methanol is used as fuel. Heavy fuel oil is start-up and support fuel. The CNCG burner is also used as a start-up burner during boiler start-up.
The contract includes also a delivery of six heavy fuel oil start-up burners and two heavy fuel oil load burners for the recovery boiler. All of these start-up burners are designed for 12 MW capacity and load burners for 25 MW capacity.
In addition, Enviroburners is also supplying all the fuel oil, methanol and CNC gas valve units and also the heavy fuel oil preheating and pumping station for the main NCG burner, start-up burners and load burners.
